Shannon D Kneisler, known internationally as the
"Bio-Golf Coach", is helping to bring excitement into the game
of golf with the use of biomechanics, kinesiology, physics, and
meta-physical techniques to enhance all golf games with the
easiest and most approachable natural body type way to learn the game
and have fun.
She has been tagged by the industry as
"Your Anatomy Expert on Golf" because of her
continuous efforts to share the insights of how your body type is
unique and should be valued when learning golf.
Whether
you are a beginning golfer or a top PGA Professional who needs to
discover your true natural swing, Shannon can help you find these
results. Each individual has within them the ability to play the game
successfully; most often it takes golfers years to discover this gift.
With the proper kinesiology testing of the body and understanding what
it is asking, Shannon helps show you the truth about your body type
swing.
Shannon's world travels have given her the
opportunity to meet people with serious golf injuries, chronic pain,
and even limb failures, all of whom have had a chance to learn more
about their game as a result of knowing their body type. In many cases
her work is coupled with the help of her good friend and mentor, Dr.
Taras V. Kochno MD, one
of the most sought after authorities in athletic performance, sports
related injuries, and in the treatment of chronic pain caused by
muscles and joints.
Shannon has degrees in
kinesiology, biomechanics, and business. She resides in Oklahoma
and is contracted in California, Florida and Internationally
throughout the year to educate other professionals and teach "Bio-Golf" to eager students.
Shannon's Golf Story
Shannon
first learned to play golf at the age of fourteen from her dad.
Very late in today's standards, but at the time golf had not been a
very popular sport to play for girls. She developed into a
natural swinger after only a few weeks and entered a tournament where
she placed first. The trophy was enough to keep her coming back.
Being
reared in West Texas she had to learn all types of golf shots: how to
keep it down in the wind, how to play it from a hard pan lie,
etc. She then went to play at college in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Oral
Roberts University helping start that team from scratch. The
formative years were difficult, but it was a learning curve that she
will never forget. The hard work and long days in making a team
successful were worth it in the end. Now Shannon uses all those
days of peaks and valleys to speak on golf in terms that most people
can relate.
Shannon
has played LPGA professional tournaments and continues to compete on
occasion. She is a member of the LPGA and continues to
develop her teaching skills through the T&CP Program.
Shannon works
often with non-profit centers helping new golfers around the world
discover how to be true to themselves as a person and then discover how
to be true to their body in golf. You may have seen Shannon doing
various commentating events with Fox or the Golf Channel. Her articles
about golf have been in numerous leading golf magazines. She has
many guest appearances on radio and television shows as a golf analyst
for LPGA or PGA golf events.
Shannon's
Gift: Golf Keynote Speaker.
Speaking in Mexico and Canada in 2001 lead
to more opportunities to share the "golf nuggets" to others around the
world as she joined forces with many other companies such as Crystal
Cruises, the "World's Best Large-Ship Cruise Line" rated by Travel + Leisure for the 11th consecutive year.
After her travel with Crystal Cruises she was then invited to various events and resorts to show others the "Bio-Golf"
anatomy education.
She has played with people all around the world and has had
the chance to encounter a myriad of golfers in celebrity, political and
educational arenas. Recently she has been sharing more golf insight to
the business community using the books of author and speaker Ken
Blanchard, global leader in workplace learning, productivity, performance, and leadership effectiveness solutions.
She shares golf metaphorically and literally with audiences who look to
improve their company's performance using a sport as the platform.
Shannon's
Books and DVDs
Soon on press and due out in the spring of 2008 called A Woman's View of A Man's Game and with more books on the way revolving around the
"Bio-Golf"
approach. She is now available on the newest DVD series called Be You! Swing True! These
DVD's give the needed tools for a golfer to find out about their body
type and how it correlates with the swing that is unique to
them. Each body type needs to know what assets they have
hidden within them so that those qualities can be brought out in the
golf swing to enhance their game. Studies show that when you are
true to your body type or most sound in using it's mechanics they way
it was designed, the swing can feel natural and flow with ease.
Thus the score drops dramatically. Enjoy one of the first
three DVD's: Grip, Posture or Balance of your body type.
